On this page, you will learn how to modify an existing customer's subscription.

When do I change a subscription?

Changing a subscription can occur at different times. For example:

  • A customer would like to change certain details

  • A customer would like to change from a monthly to an annual subscription

  • You want to change the price of a specific subscription for the customer

For both your own administration and that of your customers, it is important to have a good overview and to have these changes in the data correctly.

How do I change a subscription?

Your customers can't change their own subscription. Only you as admin can perform this action.

To change a subscription, go to Subscriptions in the admin centre of Plug&Pay.

Here you can find the list of all active subscriptions.

Using the filter function on the right-hand side of the dashboard in your subscriptions, you can navigate through this list. This allows you to find the customer in question. Use the filter function to search subscriptions by name, subscription number or e-mail address.

To access the details of the subscription you have looked up, click on the subscription number. Here you will find all the details about the customers whose subscription you want to change.

Here you can edit general customer details, change collection date, change payment details, edit the content of the current subscription and view the order and what the subscription is linked to.

Customer data

You can edit your customers' details under Customer data. Very useful if you need to change the address or company name for example.

Change collection date or deactivate subscription

Under Subscription active (see screenshot below), you can view the status of the subscription. Here you can deactivate the subscription.

Do you want a subscription to end on a specific date? You can set this via Deactivate from. Under Next direct debit on you can see when the next collection occurs. Here you can move the collection date to a different date.

Changing payment methods

You modify changes to payment details under Payment details. For example, if you need to change the customer's bank details.

Adjust subscription contents

Under Subscription content, you can make specific changes to the subscription itself. Switch from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription or another type of subscription altogether. You can even adjust the price. Click Change content to open the next tab and make changes here.

Viewing subscription orders

Finally, at the bottom of the page you will find further information regarding the order and its invoices. Click on the invoice number to navigate to the invoice.

This way, you always have all your administration in your own hands and your customer data is always up to date!
